Sweet Jam Filled Potato Pillows With Noodles.

Ingredients: Duration of Cooking: 1 hour
700 g of Potatoes
300 g of Plain Flour
2 tbs of Vegetable Oil
1 tsp of Salt
2 tbs of Icing Sugar
1 tbs of Grits/Semolina
1 Jar of Strawberry Jam
300 g of Breadcrumbs
100 g of Butter
1 Litre of Water for Cooking
1 Egg
Directions:
Step 1: Peel and chop potatoes then place them into a large saucepan and boil until smooth.
Step 2: Take a large pan add 100 g of butter once the butter is melted add the breadcrumbs.
Step 3: Cook the breadcrumbs on a medium heat until it turns light golden brown coloured.
Step 4: Take a large saucepan add water and let it come to boil.
Step 5: Drain the potatoes and mash them well.
Step 6: Take a large mixing bowl and add the mashed potatoes along with the rest of the ingredients. (The mixture may require additional flour -depends on the potatoes- to create that smooth no stick feel to it)
Step 7: When you have that nice and smooth dough i mentioned above then flour a clean surface and start stretching it to get it nice and thin. (Make sure that the dough is symmetrical because you will have to cover one side with the other).
Step 8: Add spots of strawberry jam onto one side of the pasta, then flip the other plain side on top of the jam part. (Make sure to use plenty of flour underneath the pasta as it can easily stick down and rip).
Step 9: Grab a knife and cut off the excess pasta as you don't want them to be too big. Then grab a fork and close the edges by slightly tapping them.
Step 10: Take the pillows and drop them into the boiling water for about 2-3 minutes when they're ready they should pop up to the top of the water. (Make sure only put in about 4-5 at a time to prevent sticking).
Step 11: Use a strainer to get rid of the excess water then flip them into the fried breadcrumbs we prepared earlier.
Step 12: Use the leftover pasta to make noodles. Grab a small piece of pasta and and use a "hand wash" motion to roll them into little snail shapes.
Step 13: Place noodles into boiling water, drain and flip them into the breadcrumbs.
