Hi Everyone, I hope you're all good and safe!
Today we have done our food shopping in 3 different shops (Lidl, Aldi and Super Valu). In total we spent €129.58, which I don't think is a lot of money when you see how many items we managed to buy. Prior going to the shop I usually browse the websites of my selected shops to see what they currently have on their weekly offer. There are a few reasons why I like doing this; 1) I love travelling hence i'd prefer to save my money creating awesome memories 2) It gives me satisfaction when I can tell you guys that certain meals were made under for example only €5 or €10 for 2 people. Hahha. 3) I like sharing tips and tricks with people on how to eat healthy while not spending all your hard earned money all on food. As you can see below few of the items we bought were once off items which means that we either won't be buying them again (well maybe) or we won't need to buy it again in 2 weeks time as certain items would last us up to a month.
Pantry items such as a variety of flours, beans, seasonings, herbs, oils, sauces like mayo and ketchup, sugar and pastas I would consider essential items and I would always have them!
Buying cheap food doesn't mean you're eating cheap, it means that you're spending less/ saving money while eating well !
